5. C3 Product Delivery and support
|
Description
|
Connections activities are in the process of being unbundled
from other operations within National Grid Transco. Phase I of this
separation was completed successfully on July 1st 2001 and Phase-II
Implementation (C3 Project) includes the implementation of Work Management
Systems in Fulcrum Connections architecture. C3 Pilot phase commenced on Sept
1st 2003 and rollout is currently in progress with target date for completion
being set to 31st December 2004. Product Delivery team are primarily
responsible for Requirements Analysis, Sign-off, liaison with 3rd party
suppliers for development and testing the functionality of the application.

6. Application Support for FC
(WP8003-OFF)

Description
|
Fulcrum connections was formerly an integrated part of Transco,
but separated on 1 July ,2001. Wipro was chosen to assist Fulcrum Connections
in its separation from Transco. This involved areas like IS Strategy, Package
selection, Planning and Implementation covering almost the entire lifecycle
in infrastructure building The present project scope includes First line
support for all 3rd Party Applications and end-to-end support for bespoke
applications and Interfaces. To suggest changes to Technical Infrastructure
to satisfy the changing needs of FC Business Requirements. Regression
Analysis, Testing and Implementation of changes to FCL systems. Provide
project support for C3 developments like CSOS4, Blackwater and other
activities in the FC roadmap. Manage the implementation of patches and based
application solutions to FCL production systems. To facilitate the Rapid
Application Development (RAD) facility either by using the existing resources
or by deploying the additional requirements based on the efforts and
timelines required.
